Here’s what SOMA’s up to:

WORSHIP GATHERING

August 14th: Worship Gathering, Communion, & Potluck Lunch
We will meet at our regular time of 11:15am at The Well (1401 6th Ave) to share conversation, pray and sing together. We will be talking about the power of our words by taking a look at James 3 and will participate in communion together. After the service, we’ll have our monthly potluck lunch. Please bring a dish to share with 6-8 people if you are able!

THIS WEEK

Garden Night – Monday, August 8th
We’ll have our weekly work night at the garden from 5:30-7:00pm.

Summer of Psalms – Tuesday, August 9th

Every Tuesday this summer @ 7pm at The Well we’ll have a Bible study for anyone who wants to join in. Each week we’ll take a look at a different Psalm. No need to sign up – come when you can!

Morning Prayer at The Well – Wednesday, August 10th
At 7:30am every Wednesday morning, we will be meeting for prayer and practicing community together. Stop by (1401 6th Ave, Beaver Falls) to join in!

Drop In Hours – Wednesday, August 10th
The Well will be open for anyone in the community to come enjoy the space, use the wifi, and have some coffee from 7:00am – 11:00am every Wednesday.

Poetry Class & Movement Group cancelled for Thursday, August 11th

Community Festival – August 13th

Hosted by TRAILS, the community festival will feature live music, food, and craft vendors. Located at 6th Ave & 6th St. from 10:00am – 7:00pm.

UPCOMING

SOMA’s Annual Picnic – September 17

Everyone is invited to celebrate the year with a picnic on Saturday, September 17th! It will be hosted at Doug & Jerryn Carson’s home (2200 6th Ave, downtown Beaver Falls) from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. Please bring a side dish to share!

COMMUNITY CONCERNS

Please pray for Shawn’s health, particularly during these hot summer days. Also, Shawn needs a ride to a court hearing in Mars during the morning of September 9th. If you are available to help out, please reply to this email.
