We’ll meet at their building each week (616 17th St in Beaver Falls), have a small dinner together, watch a video teaching on the book of Philippians, and have small group discussion. If you plan to attend, please sign up on the SOMA table or reply to this email.
SUGGESTED SPIRITUAL PRACTICES
Spiritual practice for this week based on Sunday’s message.
Pray Psalm 139:23-24 & reflect specifically in these ways:
– Pay attention to your lived allegiance: is it to the Kingdom of God or the kingdoms of the world
– Pay attention to the Why behind your most strongly-held positions
– Pay attention to the quality of your posture toward others: is it fear or is it love
If you’ve got something to share with SOMA’s community by way of prayer request or a call for help from the body, let me know and I’ll put those here.
Robin would like prayer for herself as well as for her dad Eugene who is getting a hip replacement soon.
