WORSHIP GATHERING

May 6th: Worship Gathering, Communion, Children’s Environment, and Fellowship Meal
We will meet at our regular time of 11:15am at The Well (1401 6th Ave) to share conversation, pray, and sing together.  Pastor Marc will be preaching from Acts 10 and we will share in communion together.  Children’s Environment will be available for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. After the worship gathering, we will share in a light fellowship meal.

Men’s Night – Mondays
Every Monday @ 6:30pm at The Well will be a Men’s Night for guys to meet, hang out, and encourage each other. All men are welcome!

Women’s Movement Group – Thursdays
Spring session for both classes: April 12 – May 17.
Class is held Thursdays from 7-8pm at The Well. Pay what makes you happy ($5-10/class suggested)

Youth Bowling – Thursday, May 3

All youth in Jr & Sr High are invited to hang out with bowling and pizza at Sim’s Lanes on Thursday, May 3 from 6-8pm. Cost is $12 per student and rides can be provided. Contact Sean for more information and to sign up.

Drop In Hours – Fridays
Join in our Friday open hours at The Well! Everyone is welcome to come use the space from 10am – 4pm. Free coffee, lunch, and wi-fi.

Recovery Community Group – Fridays
This community group is for anyone struggling in some kind of addiction and looking for Christian community support. It will meet on Fridays @ 12:30pm at The Well.

Neighborhoods of Hope Prayer Walk – May 5

Our next Neighborhoods of Hope prayer walk will take place on Saturday, May 5th. We will meet at The Well at 10am. Kids are welcome to join in as we pray for our neighborhood!

Geneva’s Graduation – May 5

Undergraduate Commencement will take place at 10am with Adult & Master’s Commencement at 3pm. Both ceremonies will be held indoors at Methany Fieldhouse and tickets will not be required.

First Annual Spring Festival – May 5

Join in the spring festivities and support Beaver Falls business! Featured events: Merchant sidewalk sales: all day. Community-wide yard sales: 8am-1pm. New & used item vendors: 10am -4:30pm in the Municipal Parking Lot at the 1200 block on 8th Ave. Heritage Valley “Ask a Doc” 10am-12pm. Live concert with oldies & motown from 5-6:30pm in March Park (next to the library).

Pentecost Worship Service – May 20

On Sunday May 20th we’ll be worshiping with 5 other Beaver Falls churches at 11am at the Beaver Falls High School (just like we did last year). Kids programming will be available during the service. If you are interested in singing in the choir reply to this email.

Kids Movie Night – May 20

Last movie night before summer! All elementary-aged kids are invited to come to The Well from 4:30-6:45pm on the third Sunday of each month.  We will show a kid-friendly movie and provide dinner. All kids must have an activity release form on file in order to stay for the event.  

SOMA Conversations: Immigration – June 3

Our next SOMA converstaion will take place ast 6:30pm on Sunday, June 3 around the topic of immigration.

Summer Bible Study – June 6 – August 1

This summer we will be taking 9 weeks to look at the book of Amos together. This Bible study is open to everyone and will take place at 7pm at The Well on Wednesdays.

SOMA Block Party – June 12

Mark your calendars! We’re kicking off the summer with a neighborhood block party! Food, fun, and entertainment for the family on Tuesday, June 12 from 4:30-7:30pm. Sign up sheets for kids games, helping with set up & tear down, and food will be on the SOMA table.

Community Groups
Groups meet at various times to study scripture, be together, eat together, and serve together. Sign up for a group on the visitor card or by replying to this email.

Lori Wynn

Lori is undergoing her first round of chemotherapy for the recurrence of her cancer earlier this year.  She is in North Carolina receiving her treatments and appreciates our prayers.

Tyler’s Mom

Tyler Patterson’s mother Rosetta is currently in the hospital after having suffered stroke-like symptoms over the weekend. Please keep her in your prayers.
