Here’s what SOMA’s up to:

WORSHIP GATHERING

July 3rd: Worship Gathering, Children’s Environment, and Fellowship Meal
We will be meeting our regular time of 11:15am at The Well (1401 6th Ave) to share conversation, pray and sing together. We’re continuing in our “Spiritual Fruit” series and will be taking this week to look at the topic of kindness. Children’s Environment will be available for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. After the service, we’ll have a light fellowship meal together.

THIS WEEK

Garden Night – Monday, June 27th

We will meet at the garden (16th St & 1st Ave) to work from 5:30 – 7:00pm.

Summer of Psalms – Tuesday, June 28th

Every Tuesday this summer @ 7pm at The Well we’ll have a Bible study for anyone who wants to join in.  Each week we’ll take a look at a different Psalm.  No need to sign up – come when you can!

The Women’s Movement Group – cancelled for Tuesday, June 28th

Popcorn & Politics @ FPC Beaver – Tuesday, June 28th

Join in for part 2 of the discussion of faith and politics as we seek to think deeply and live faithfully during this season.  This Tuesday, June 28th, 7:30pm, in Fellowship Hall @ FPC Beaver (252 College Ave in Beaver) – come for a moderated discussion with panelists Eric Miller, Jeff Cole, and Doug Carson.  Childcare, snacks, and valuable insight provided.

Morning Prayer at The Well  – Wednesday, June 29th

At 7:30am every Wednesday morning, we will be meeting for prayer and practicing community together. Stop by (1401 6th Ave, Beaver Falls) to join in!

Drop In Hours – Wednesday, June 29th

The Well will be open for anyone in the community to come enjoy the space, use the wifi, have some coffee, etc. from 7:00am – 11:00am every Wednesday.

Poetry Group – Thursday, June 30th
No matter what you’re experience, expertise, or fear-level, please feel welcome to join our Poetry Group! Come experience together the power of words, written and spoken, and learn to write and speak your own poems! We’ll be experimenting with language and sound, images and emotion, memory, imagination, and beauty. Come with open minds, a pen or pencil, and whatever you feel able to pay for the evening (suggested $5). We’ll meet Thursdays at 6:30 PM at the Well (1401 6th Ave). The Women’s Movement Group – Thursday, June 30

This dance class is for every woman – whether you have never taken a dance class before or if you have – this is for you! It’s about community, moving together, getting funky and feeling good!  Pay what makes you happy ($5 – $10 suggested). We’ll meet regularly on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7:30-8:30pm at The Well (1401 6th Ave)

Friday Night at The Red House – Friday, July 1

Beaver Valley Christian Fellowship is hosting a coffeehouse event on the first Friday of every month from 7:00pm – 10:00pm.   The event will take place at The Red House, located at 903 8th Ave, Beaver Falls. Check out their website for more info: http://theredhouseministry.com

UPCOMING

dWELLings Home Repair – Saturday, July 9th

We’re having our first dWELLings Initiative (home repair) project on Saturday, July 9th, starting at 9:00am.  There’s no need to have any special skills, just a willingness to help out. If you are interested, you can sign up by replying to this email or sign up at the SOMA table at The Well.
