Week of August 15
August 21st: Worship Gathering, Children’s Environment, and Fellowship Meal
We will meet at our regular time of 11:15am at The Well (1401 6th Ave) to share conversation, pray and sing together. The message this week is “Jesus is Lord: Politics & the Kingdom of God,” talking about how we engage in our nation’s political machine as friends and followers of Jesus. Children’s Environment will be available for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. After the service, we’ll share in a fellowship meal together.
Summer of Psalms – Tuesday, August 16th
Every Tuesday this summer @ 7pm at The Well we’ll have a Bible study for anyone who wants to join in. Each week we’ll take a look at a different Psalm. No need to sign up – come when you can!
At 7:30am every Wednesday morning, we will be meeting for prayer and practicing community together. Stop by (1401 6th Ave, Beaver Falls) to join in!
Drop In Hours – Wednesday, August 17th
The Well will be open for anyone in the community to come enjoy the space, use the wifi, and have some coffee from 7:00am – 11:00am every Wednesday.
Poetry Class – Thursday, August 18th
6:30-7:30pm at The Well. Next week (August 25) will be the last week of this class.
**Note: The Women’s Movement class is on a break for a few weeks. A new session for the fall will start up the week of August 29th.
SOMA’s Annual Picnic – September 17
Everyone is invited to celebrate the year with a picnic on Saturday, September 17th! It will be hosted at Doug & Jerryn Carson’s home (2200 6th Ave, downtown Beaver Falls) from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. Please bring a side dish to share!
