Here’s what SOMA‘s up to:
March 26th: Worship Gathering and Fellowship Meal
We will meet at our regular time of 11:15am at The Well (1401 6th Ave) to share conversation, pray and sing together. Kathy Kinzer-Downs will join us to continue our series on the Beatitudes, focusing on “Blessed are the peacemakers”. After the service, we will have a light fellowship meal.
6:00pm – CCO Fellowship
Each Sunday we will have a time for college students to hang out together from 6:00 – 7:30pm. Each week will look different so join the CCO at The Well Facebook group to stay informed!

Drop In Hours – Wednesday, March 22nd
The Well will be open for anyone in the community to come enjoy the space, use the wifi, and have some coffee from 7:00am – 10:00am every Wednesday.
Men’s Night – Wednesday, March 22nd
Every Wednesday @ 6:30pm at The Well will be a Men’s Night for SOMA guys to meet, hang out, and encourage each other.
Beaver Falls Lecture Series, part 1 – Wednesday, March 22nd
The third annual Beaver Falls Lecture Series is focused around the topic of “Why Beaver Falls?” The dates of the lectures are March 22, April 5, and April 19. The first lecture features Dr. Eric Miller, a professor of History at Geneva College. He will address the ways in which a local economy along with its stories, history and traditions contribute to the health of a community and its people. All lectures will be held at 7pm in the basement of the Carnegie Free Library of Beaver Falls. Check out more details on the BF Lecture Series poster.
Women’s Movement Group – Thursday, March 23rd
All women are welcome to join in this movement group, whether you love to dance or it makes you nervous. Pay what makes you happy (suggested $5/class). We’ll meet at The Well from 7:00pm – 8:00pm.
Drop In Hours – Friday, March 24th
Join in our Friday open hours at The Well! Anyone is welcome to come use the space from 10:00am – 1:00pm.
SITG Fundraiser – March 25th
Standing in the Gap, a ministry working with women in prostitution & trafficking in 0Beaver Falls, will be hosting a fundraiser on Saturday, March 25th. Fliers for the event are at The Well. If you’d like to participate a table that has already been started, contact Karen Swartzwelder at firstname.lastname@example.org
Provide a Meal for Jobs for Life
We are in need of people to provide a small meal on Thursdays evenings at 6pm for the Jobs for Life class. The course runs for 7 more weeks. If you are willing to provide food, please contact Akil at email@example.com or Dave at firstname.lastname@example.org

With Easter on the way, we will not be having a Sunday night SOMA community conversation in April. Mark your calendars for our next community conversation on Sunday, May 7, at 6:30 PM!
Baptisms on Easter Sunday – April 16
Jumping for Java 5k & 1 mile run – May 13th
A 5k fundraiser for Lan Vwa, our international partner, is planned for the morning of Saturday, May 13th at the Zelienople Community Park. Early registration is $20; each runner will provide education for a child for one month in addition to receiving a t-shirt and gym bag. The 5k will start at 9am with timed results and prizes in various ages groups. The family fun run will start at 9:05am. Fellowship Meal Cleanup
We are asking for volunteers to help with the cleanup following our weekly fellowship meals. Anyone interested in helping once a month can contact Robin Fisher at email@example.com, or sign up on the SOMAtable at The Well.
Open Hours Volunteers Needed
We are looking for some more volunteer staff for Open Hours at The Well. Contact Dave
