WORSHIP GATHERING
April 16th: Easter Sunday – Worship Gathering and Fellowship Lunch
We will meet at our regular time of 11:15am at The Well (1401 6th Ave) to share conversation, pray and sing together. We will celebrate Easter by talking about new life as we take a look at John 20. After the service, we will share in a fellowship lunch together.

Men’s Night – Wednesday, April 12th
Every Wednesday @ 6:30pm at The Well will be a Men’s Night for guys to meet, hang out, and encourage each other. All men are welcome!
Maundy Thursday – Thursday, April 13
Last Supper service @ 7pm at FPC Beaver (252 College Ave in Beaver)
*No Women’s Movement Group this week
The spring session will start up on April 20th.
Drop In Hours – Friday, April 14th
Join in our Friday open hours at The Well! Anyone is welcome to come use the space from 10:00am – 4:00pm.

Good Friday service @ 7pm at Central United Methodist Church in Beaver Falls (located at 1227 6th Ave, two blocks away from The Well)

With Easter on the way, we will not be having a Sunday night SOMA community conversation in April. Mark your calendars for our next community conversation on Sunday, May 7, at 6:30 PM!
Beaver Falls Lecture Series, part 3 – April 19
The third annual Beaver Falls Lecture Series is focused around the topic of “Why Beaver Falls?” The dates of the lectures are Wednesday, March 22, April 5, and April 19. The third lecture will feature a panel of Beaver Falls business owners who have chosen to stay and invest in this community. All lectures will be held at 7pm in the basement of the Carnegie Free Library of Beaver Falls. Check out more details on the BF Lecture Series poster.
Evangelism Training & Outreach – April 22nd
On Saturday, April 22nd we will have an evangelism training. We’ll meet at The Well at 9:30am for the training, have lunch together, & prayer walk to several sites in the city where we’ll spend a couple hours loving our neighborhood in practical ways. Garden Work Day – April 22nd
On Saturday, April 22nd from 12-3pm, following the Evangelism Training, we will have a workday at the community garden (located at 15th St & 1st Ave along the bike trail).
Jumping for Java 5k & 1 mile run – May 13th
A 5k fundraiser for Lan Vwa, our international partner, is planned for the morning of Saturday, May 13th at the Zelienople Community Park. Early registration is $20; each runner will provide education for a child for one month in addition to receiving a t-shirt and gym bag. The 5k will start at 9am with timed results and prizes in various ages groups. The family fun run will start at 9:05am. Fellowship Meal Cleanup
We are asking for volunteers to help with the cleanup following our weekly fellowship meals. Anyone interested in helping once a month can contact Robin Fisher at rfisher3633@comcast.net, or sign up on the SOMA table at The Well.
Open Hours Volunteers Needed
We are looking for some more volunteer staff for Open Hours at The Well, especially as we extend our Friday hours and continue on into the summer. Contact Dave (daveslebodnik@gmail.com) if you are available to lend your time on Friday mornings/afternoons once a month.
Pastor March’s Sabbatical – June 4 – September 3
Pastor Marc will be taking a three-month sabbatical this summer as a time to rest and pursue his studies. Don’t worry – we will continue as a worshipping body while he is away! Please see the attached Sabbatical FAQ for more of the details about this time period.

Haiti Mission Trip
Simone, Kamera, & Amanda shared with us this Sunday that they will be going to Haiti in May with Haiti H2O and their need for financial support in order to make the trip happen. If anyone wants to support them in their learning, they can make out a check to SOMA with ‘Haiti’ in the memo.
Dwenn
Dwenn has a consultation on Tuesday this week with a surgeon regarding her knees. Please pray that goes well and for healing.
