WORSHIP GATHERING

December 31st, New Year’s Eve: Worship Gathering, Communion, and Fellowship Meal
We will meet at our regular time of 11:15am at The Well (1401 6th Ave) to share conversation, pray and sing together. Pastor Mark Ongley will be preaching and we will share in communion together.  After the service, we will share in a fellowship meal together.

Christmas Day Community Dinner with BFCA
For the past 24 years, the Beaver Falls Christian Assembly Church has hosted a community dinner on Christmas Day, serving as many as 1,200 people during the day!  The dinner takes place from 11:30am-3pm at the Beaver Falls High School.
  Volunteer and Donation Information: Items needed for donation: hygiene products and new scarves, socks, gloves, and hats (only), and monetary donations. To volunteer or donate, contact CARE Outreach Ministry at 724-846-3751Pastor Marc Vacation
Pastor Marc will be away Decemeber 25th – January 4th. Anyone in need of pastoral assistance during that time can contact FPC Beaver at 724.774.6398.
Drop In Hours – Friday, December 29th
Join in our Friday open hours at The Well! Everyone is welcome to come use the space from 10am – 4pm. Free coffee, lunch, and wi-fi.

Recovery Community Group – Fridays
This community group is for anyone struggling in some kind of addiction and looking for Christian community support. It will meet on Fridays @ 12:30pm at The Well.

Second Responders Training – starting January 10
Uncommon Grounds is hosting a series of training and informational classes starting January 10 to help bridge the gap between the community and those in addition. Each class will be held on a Wednesday at Uncommon Grounds Cafe (380 Franklin Ave, Aliquippa) from 5:30pm – 8pm. Space is limited to 25.  To register, email AKirby@ChurchArmyUSA.org

On Saturday, January 13th at 10:00am we will meet at The Well for a prayer walk around our neighborhood. Join in if you are able!

SOMA Sunday conversation – January 14
Our next SOMA Sunday conversation will take place on Sunday, January 14that The Well at 6pm. We will take this time to talk about SOMA’s next steps in mission partnership & particularization.

Mission Partnership Classes – January 27 or February 3
This is your opportunity to learn more about Soma’s mission and sign on to partner with us as we take the next step in our community life together. There will be two Soma Mission Partnership classes offered: Saturday, January 27 and Saturday, February 3, both from 10 AM to 3 PM. Please choose one date or the other to attend and sign up at the SOMA table

Community Groups
Groups meet at various times to study scripture, be together, eat together, and serve together. Sign up for a group on the visitor card or by replying to this email.
          College Student Groups: Groups will start up again next semester. Get in touch with Dave daveslebodnik@gmail.com to sign up for a time that fits your schedule.Rides for Tyler and Maci 
The Pattersons are looking for help with getting transportation to and from appointments. They recently moved to College Hill. We are looking to put together a team of people who are available to provide a ride once per month. If you are able, get in touch with Dave Slebodnik (724-875-7286).
