Week of June 11

WORSHIP GATHERING

June 17th: Worship Gathering, Communion, and Potluck Lunch
We will meet at our regular time of 11:15am at The Well (1401 6th Ave) to share conversation, pray, and sing together.  Pastor Marc will be preaching this week and we will share in communion together.  After the worship gathering, we will share in a light fellowship meal.
Note: We are on our summer schedule with Children’s Environment which means that it will just be on the first Sunday of the month for June, July, & August.

Men’s Night – Mondays

Every Monday @ 6:30pm at The Well will be a Men’s Night for guys to meet, hang out, and encourage each other. All men are welcome!

Vacation Bible School at Ashes to Life – Mondays: June 11, 18, 25

Ashes to Life is hosting VBS for kids ages 6-11 on three consecutive Mondays starting June 11. VBS runs from 6-8pm at their building (831 4th Ave downtown). The theme this year is “It’s a Dog’s Life: Lessons on Love and Kindness” and will feature some furry guests from our community. If you’d like more information, contact 724-272-8476.

Neighborhoods of Hope Block Party – Monday, June 12

Mark your calendars! We’re kicking off the summer with a neighborhood block party! Food, fun, and entertainment for the family on Tuesday, June 12 from 4:30-7:30pm. Sign up sheets for kids games, helping with set up & tear down, and food will be on the SOMA table.

Salvation Army Music Program: Bucket Drumming – Wednesday, June 13

10:30am – 11:30am at the Carnegie Free Library of Beaver Falls
Music exploration and bucket drumming for kids ages 5-12
years. Come make the library rock! FREE of charge, but registration
required. Call the library to register @ 724.846.4340.

Garden Night – Wednesdays

Regular community garden work nights are here! Join in from 5:00-6:30pm at the 1600 block of 1st Ave.

Summer Bible Study – Wednesday, June 13 (week 2)

This summer we will be taking 9 weeks to look at the book of Amos together (June 6 – August 1). This Bible study is open to everyone and will take place at 7pm at The Well on Wednesdays.

Drop In Hours – Fridays
Join in our Friday open hours at The Well! Everyone is welcome to come use the space from 10am – 4pm. Free coffee, lunch, and wi-fi.

Recovery Community Group – Fridays
This community group is for anyone struggling in some kind of addiction and looking for Christian community support. It will meet on Fridays @ 12:30pm at The Well.

Pine Valley Bible Camp – Sunday-Friday, June 17-22

Kids’ Camp (ages 8-12) is an action-packed week where each camper will have the opportunity to experience awesome camp activities, make lasting friendships, and learn about the God who created them and loves them. For more information go to: http://pinevalleycamp.org/summer-camp/kids-camp. Registration fee is $35. The Beaver Falls Good News Club is attending camp during Term 1, June 17-22.

Vacation Bible School at FPC Beaver – June 18 – 21

From 9am – 11:30am June 18-21, all kids ages 4 by September 1st through entering 5th grade. The theme this year is “Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus” and you now can register online. If you would like help with transportation, contact Christine. 

Neighborhoods of Hope Prayer Walk – Saturday, July 14

Our next Neighborhoods of Hope prayer walk will take place on Saturday, July 14th. We will meet at The Well at 10am. Kids are welcome to join in as we pray for our neighborhood!

Nursery Volunteers

We could use more help in the nursery, especially over the summer months. If you are able to help out once a month during the worship gathering, contact Christine Kroger or mark your info card.

David Johnson

David asks for prayer for his family as they are currently without a home. Pray for their health, open minds, and to stay humble with a positive attitude during this time.
